Jade joined A Fire Inside in 1999, just in time to record Black Sails in the Sunset with the band. Before
AFI, he played in Loose Change, and more famously, Redemption 87. He first recorded with AFI, though, much earlier on a vinyl
called "Dork". Jade, as well as Davey, follows the ways of straightedge and vegan. It's very difficult to find out a lot of
in-depth facts on Jade, because interviews are so exclusive, and fan sites are not as abundant as they are with Davey (what
a shame). Some things that should be noted though, are that Jade, like Davey, is a make-up finatic, his favorite being L'Oreal's
liquid eyeliner. He is also funny as hell. Jade's spontaneous, random humor leads for quite interesting conversations, and
have inspired many sites to start collecting his quotes. He seems to really love the fans more than anything else, even cheese
bagels (which is he very fond of, as well). He has some tattoos, though not nearly as many as Davey. He has the word "committed"
written across his stomach, along with a regretted iron cross he got as a teenager on his arm, a few knots, and the number
13, which is rumored to have been changed to an 18. He has many other noted tattoos. Jade really likes old video games, and
tends to be more in tune with his Atari than his computer. He's also rather opinionated about other bands, as band member
Adam Carson is, as well. He says whatever is on his mind with no remorse, which adds to his honest, odd character. All in
all, Jade can be described only as "trouble, baby, trouble".
